High Speed Energy Saving Door
|
|
PVC Strip Curtain
|
 |

High Speed Energy Saving Doors (Rapid Roll) are designed for applications where
they will receive intensive use.
Because of their operating speed, they dramatically reduce your energy costs,
CO2 emissions, draughts and temperature loss as well as optimising traffic
flow.
They significantly reduce energy costs and create more comfortable working
conditions. Productivity is also improved due to drastically reduced operating
times. A typical Industrial Door @ 4000mm2 would take approximately 90 seconds
to complete its operating cycle. A high speed door operating at 1 metre per
second with a paused time in the open position of 10 seconds, would complete
its operating cycle in 18 seconds, meaning the door would be open 80% less per
cycle.
They are available in both Rolling and Folding configurations and are
electrically operated as standard. Safety Photocells and Contact Safety Edges
are a standard item. Various control and actuation systems along with a choice
of 8 colours are available to suit your requirements. |
 |

Where energy saving is of paramount importance but a smaller initial budget is
available, a PVC Strip-Curtain assembly is an ideal choice of product.
They are an ideal way to help prevent entry of airborne pests and a cost
effective method of cutting heat loss or retaining chilled air in an area where
you need to control the environment such as in a warehouse, factory or food
processing plant.
With a range of strip sizes, grades, colours and tracks to suit different
applications, opening sizes and traffic type (pedestrian, pallet trucks and/or
fork-trucks) they are available as static or sliding assembly. Stainless steel
tracks are used for mounting the strips for areas such as food preparation and
manufacture facilities where maximum hygiene is essential. For advice on what
type of Strip Curtain is best suited to your requirements, contact our sales
department. |
